Mike and Jack Kurisky combined for 32 points as the Gaels rallied to defeat the Tornadoes in a Virginia Independent Conference game.
Timberlake trailed by six at the half, 28-22, but rallied to tie the game at 34 after three quarters. The Tornadoes then went ahead 42-39 early in the fourth quarter, but Mike Kurisky got hot, scoring 8 of his game-high 22 points in the quarter.
The Gaels, 4-6 overall, outscored the Tornadoes at the line, 14-2.
Brad Yates led TCS, 3-4 overall and 1-4 in the VIC, with 12 points. Tommy Parker and Cecil Floyd chipped in with 10 each for TCS. Jack Kurisky had 10 for Holy Cross.
