The Tornadoes return only two starters but will be bolstered by a young group moving up from last year's talented JV squad.
Senior center Steve Glass, who averaged in double figures last season, will be the team's inside force, joined on the front line by junior forward Jon Kelley, a part-time starter on last season's 3-15 team.
“I don't think there's any question we'll be better than last year,” coach Charlie Williams said. “We've got more talent this year; we just don't have the experience.”
Moving up from last year's JV team and into the starting lineup are junior guards Matt Durand and Barret Hepler. Sophomore Nathan Williams will start at small forward, backed by junior Isaac Conrad.
“They're excellent players,” Williams said. “This may be the most talent I've ever had here.”
