Roanoke Valley nips Timberlake
Roanoke Valley's Josh Foster sank two free throws with two seconds left to seal a 52-51 victory over Timberlake Christian. Foster's game-winning free throws came after Barret Hepler's 3-pointer had put the Tornadoes on top 51-50 with 15 seconds remaining; Timberlake was then called for an over-the-back foul off Hepler's miss on the ensuing possession, sending Foster to the line for the win.
Matt Durand led the Tornadoes with 14 points, while Hepler added 12. Foster paced Roanoke Valley with 19 points and Darrin Naff netted 11.
