Key returning players: Matt Durand, Nathan Williams, Barret Hepler, Jon Kelley

Outlook: Williams was the Coach of the Year in the VIC a year ago, and he may have a shot at it again since he has four starters returning, including 6-2 Williams, who averaged 11.5 points. Durand will be the point guard with Hepler his backcourt mate. Kelley will be up front with Williams and German exchange student 6-4 Markus Muhler.

Isaac Conrad, a 6-0 F-G, has been impressive along with Travis Adkins, who moved up from the jayvees.

“The competition in December is loaded with good players, and if we can get to January (the VIC season), we'll be okay,” said Williams, whose team is 1-1 after a tournament in Danville 10 days ago.
