TCS opened up slowly but found their rythmn late in the 3rd quarter and held on to win their first road conference game of the season. After struggling through a poor offensive performance in the first half TCS finally started attacking the solid zone defense of Roanoke Valley. TCS turned up the heat on defense and forced several turnovers in the second half that led to easier offensive opportunities. Colby Heckman led the Tornadoes with 15 points and Jon Morgan added 13. TCS improves to 3-5 in the VIC as they prepare to defend their title at the Bob Jones Invitational tournament in South Carolina.
