League: VIC

Coach: Charlie Williams

Key players: Paul Fitzgerald, 6-1, F; Steve Glass, 6-4, C; Clint Dodson, 5-9, G; Ethan Stanley, 6-2, F

Analysis: The senior Fitzgerald, a two-year starter who averaged 14 ppg last year, will be asked to shoulder much of the load this season, but he will be surrounded by an athletic supporting cast. Fitzgerald and Glass have dangerous 3-point accuracy, and Dodson will handle the point.

Timberlake, which lost Jason Spear and Wyatt Craig from last year's team, will be an aggressive team defensively, Williams said, and will mix up its zone and man-to-man defenses.

Coach's comment: “We're gonna have to improve on our shooting and decision-making,” Williams said. “We've got a lot of work to do. We need to make sure our court awareness is not so reckless. Some days we look great, and some days we don't look great.”
