Timberlake traveld to Chatham to play their first conference road game of the season against Hargrave Military Academy. Hargrave employed a full-court press and a 12 man rotation throughout the entire game. TCS settled into a groove against the press and reeled off 25 points in the 2nd quarter to head into halftime trailing by only 4 points. But the pressure would eventually undo the Tornadoes as turnovers would contribute to a growing deficit and the eventual loss. Jon Morgan led TCS with 26 points maintaing his average as three other TCS players scored in double figures in this high scoring affair. Chris Thomas and Daniel Bost each scored 14 points and Jonathan Phelps added 10.
