Watch Game

Brookville's boys basketball team pressed Timberlake Christian School for four quarters and attacked its zone with a balanced inside-outside game in a 71-60 victory Thursday afternoon at home.

The Bees (5-3) outscored the Tornadoes 22-9 in the first quarter and led by 18 points at the half.

“We got a lot of scoring in transition and a lot in our half court offense,” Brookville coach Chris Young said. “We did a real good job of sharing the ball in transition or in our half-court set against their zone.”

Brookville also scored more than its fair share of points on offensive rebound putbacks against the smaller Tornadoes.

Logan Thomas led the Bees with 13 points and Jermice Brown contributed 10.

Jon Morgan paced TCS with 29 points, including four 3-pointers, and Colby Heckman added 13.
