The Tornadoes traveled to Chatham to play Hargrave looking for a chance to avenge their early season loss to them. In the first meeting, TCS surrendered 25 offensive rebounds and missed 14 free throws. This night would prove to be a totally different story. Timberlake showed a season's worth of improvement as they handled the ball responsibly and took advantage of nearly every opportunity that came their way. The tone of the game was set by the Tornadoes active defense. They only allowed 8 points in the first quarter and combined to commit 12 steals in the game.

TCS was led by Jon Morgan with 33 points and Colby Heckman with 22 points. The two-guard tandem was rarely stopped as Hargrave employed a full court press throughout the entire game. Heckman did most of his damage in the open court, while Morgan attacked in the half court set. Chris Thomas chose to forego his coaches instructions and tossed in a 3 pointer in the 3rd quarter that seemed to be a nail in the coffin. The players on the bench demanded that Thomas be reprimanded. A decision is forthcoming.

Mike Laury entered the game in the second half and made his presence known immediately by taking to the air to send back one of Hargrave's shot attempts. Patrick Hunt came off the bench steaming hot and nailed his first jumper to keep his shooting percentage at 100% for the season. Unfortunately, he shot a few more shots, and missed. Brett Hunter dazzled fans with an alley-oop attempt that left the crowd begging for more.
