Short on Height, Tall on Talent
If height is the requirement for a good basketball team, then this year's Varsity team should not have measured up to the competition. However, they proved this wrong with the accuracy of their shooting. With no player over 6'1", they mainly depended on the three point shot and quick drives to the basket. For defense, they depended on a hard, aggressive style which produced an average of one player fouling out per game. Despite this play and their constantly being confronted with vicious opposition, the guys still maintained good Christian standards on the court. With the talent and hard work that the JV boys possess, the future looks bright for basketball.
