Joel Nester picked up a loose ball and sank a perimeter shot with a second left, lifting Roanoke Valley Christian to a 64-62 win over Timberlake Christian School in Virginia Independent Conference boys' basketball Saturday.
Billy Fluker scored 18 of his game-high 20 points in the final period, as RVC (7-10) outscored Timberlake 23-11.
Ryan Spear and Jon Phillips led Timberlake (5-10, 1-7) with 18 points apiece. Brian Fitzgerald added 10.
